Lorién López-Villellas

PhD Student in High Performance Computing

Computer Architecture group of Zaragoza (gaZ), University of Zaragoza
High-Performance Algorithms and Hardware Accelerators for Bioinformatics (HPCBio), Barcelona Supercomputing Center

I work on accelerating bioinformatics and molecular dynamics through hardware-aware algorithms, data structures, and performance-critical implementations. My experience includes parallelization, vectorization, and performance engineering, with a strong focus on how algorithms interact with and exploit modern computer architectures. I enjoy bridging the gap between algorithm design and computer architecture to deliver faster and more efficient scientific applications.
